Old Must-See Movies

I'd just like to share to you a few old movies that I really liked. I'll start off with the horror/suspense ones. If you like those movies that would leave you wondering about the plot even after watching them, then I recommend that you watch "Shutter." It's a movie shot in Thailand. Grabe yung story. It's not very ordinary. What I like about it is the twist. Mas malalim yung story compared to The Ring and those other asian horrors. Another is "The Maid" in which our very own Alessandra Da Rossi stars in. It was shot in Singapore. Like Shutter, ibang klase rin yung twist. I'd recommend also Saw and Saw II. They would really keep you wondering and guessing as you watch them. I first thought that it's another ka-cheapan horror/suspense movie pero when I saw part I, I really liked it. Saw II is actually much better. But I still can't stop thinking about Shutter up to now.

If you like movies dealing with relationships na hindi pa-tweetums, then you probably have already seen "Closer." Kung hindi pa, bumili ka na ngayon ng dvd copy. I just love that scene when Clive Owen was confronting Julia Roberts. I could just play it over and over again. Another movie na medyo pa-teewtums ng slight is "Little Black Book." It stars Brittany Murphy and Ron Livingston who played in a few episodes in Sex and the City. It's about this girl dealing with his boyfriend's ex-girlfriends. Pretty cute but there were actually some dialogues that really led me to tears. Plus, if you love Carly Simon, you'll definitely love this movie.
