Annoying Habits

Aside from that regular habit of spitting on the streets, there is another habit here that is pretty much annoying. That is the chinese' way of crossing the streets. If you get annoyed by the people in Manila who can't seem to understand what the green and red stoplights mean, you wont definitely believe what the people here are like. And what's funny here is that some intersections do not have "left-turn" stoplights. So, if it's a green light, bahala na si batman kung pano ka magle-left-turn. Tarush di ba? I guess there's too much people here in China that they can't fit another slot for a left-turn light.

Another is answering celfones. I actually get excited when a celfone would ring when I'm in the middle of a meeting (the chinese don't actually turn their celfones to "silent"). I would just love to see how they would answer their celfones without them having to excuse themselves. I get amazed! What ever happened to courtesy? Or "Please excuse me" at least? Kahit sa pag-chat. Nothing would stop them from looking at their message/s. One time, a client was presenting to me some stuff on his laptop then suddenly he gets a message thru MSN. Guess what he did.....he "minimized" his presentation, opens up his MSN, and replied to the message. Ibang klase talaga di ba? Parang wala ako ron. Clap clap clap!!!
